HEALTH SCREENING
Please review the health screening page thoroughly to ensure Kambo is safe for you. After reading the contraindications below, fill out the Health Screening Form, and I will review it and get back to you shortly.
Once everything is confirmed and we’ve set your session date(s), you can send your deposit via E-Transfer to TRUESELFRENEWAL@GMAIL.COM. The deposit is the full amount for the session, and you can use the password "Kambo" for the transfer.
*Please note: Sessions are non-refundable. However, if you need to reschedule, just provide at least one week's notice, and we can arrange a new date.

KAMBO CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Kambo is generally safe when responsibly applied, with no known adverse side effects. However, it may not be suitable for individuals with the following health conditions:
- Serious heart problems or a history of heart surgery (including pacemakers, but excluding stints)
- History of stroke or brain hemorrhage
- Aneurysm or blood clot
- Recovering from major surgery with internal stitches
- On medication for low blood pressure (high blood pressure is generally fine)
- Lack of mental capacity to make decisions about Kambo
- Serious mental health conditions (excluding depression, PTSD, and anxiety)
- Undergoing or recently completed chemotherapy/radiotherapy (within the last 4 weeks)
- Taking immune-suppressants after an organ transplant
- Addison’s Disease
- Severe epilepsy
- Under 18 years old
- Certain types of eating disorders
- Pregnant or breastfeeding a child under 6 months old
Other Cautions:
- Taking sleeping or dieting supplements
- Crohn’s Disease or IBS
- Active drug or alcohol addiction
- Fasting within 7 days before or after Kambo
- Avoid enemas, colonics, intensive sweating, or liver flushes within 3 days before and after Kambo (electrolyte depletion can be dangerous)
- Menstruating (Kambo can increase bleeding, cramping, and lightheadedness)
- Refrain from using recreational substances (including marijuana and alcohol) 24-48 hours before and after Kambo
- If you’ve received the COVID-19 vaccine, wait 4-6 weeks before having Kambo
Note: If you receive Botox, wait at least 7 days after the injection, as Kambo can cause it to be expelled from the body.

PREPARATION
Preparing for Your Kambo Ceremony:
The journey with Kambo begins the moment you set your intention. As you commit to this healing path, it’s common for old patterns, emotions, and energies to surface in unexpected ways. These shifts are part of a deep cleansing process, offering you the chance to release what no longer serves you. Allow yourself to feel into these energies, embrace them as teachers, and consider journaling your reflections as you prepare for the ceremony.
Guidelines for Your Session:
- Honoring your vessel: Refrain from enemas, colonics, liver flushes, or water fasting for 3 days before and after Kambo. Juice fasting is acceptable, as it supports your body’s natural balance without depleting vital electrolytes.
- Fasting in reverence: In the 12 hours before your session, abstain from food. You may sip small amounts of water or herbal tea with honey up to 2 hours prior. If needed, a caffeinated drink 5 hours before your session is allowed to ease withdrawal symptoms, and a low fat smoothie is also fine before this time to sustain your energy for the healing work ahead.
- Mindful hydration: You will be drinking 1.5 liters of water before receiving Kambo. As you prepare, hydrate mindfully, allowing your body to gently receive this nourishment. Avoid overconsumption of liquids.
- Honoring stillness: On the day of your ceremony, refrain from taking supplements or medications. You may resume them a five hours after completing the session, once your body has integrated the medicine.
- Clear presence: For 72 hours before your session, avoid alcohol and recreational substances, allowing your body and mind to be a clear vessel for Kambo.
- Nourishing the body: In the days leading up to your ceremony, feed your body with light, wholesome foods from the earth. Avoid heavy fats and processed foods to lighten the load on your liver, as Kambo will deeply cleanse this vital organ. Choose foods that align with your healing journey and keep your body light and receptive.
- Hydration preparation: Drink plenty of electrolyte-rich water 2-3 days before your session to keep your tissues hydrated. Opt for natural sources like coconut water or mineral drops, avoiding sugary drinks like Gatorade.
- Comfort and warmth: Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing and bring warm layers, as the medicine may leave you feeling cold. Warm socks, a change of clothes, and fresh underwear can help support your comfort throughout the integration process. If you have long hair, please bring a hair tie. Please also wear an open-back sports bra in case chakra placements along the spine are incorporated into the session.
- Setting intentions: Bring your journal to write down your intentions, which we will discuss during your consultation. This is a time to open your heart to healing and transformation.
- Honoring the body’s flow: If your hair is long, please bring a hair tie. Women are encouraged to wear an open-back sports bra, as Kambo points are often placed along the spinal energy centers.
